Course Description
Clients often want to hear hourly rates for freelance work—but an hourly rate is only part of the equation. What they really want to know is, “How much is this going to cost me?” How can you, the freelance editor, come up with a reasonable number that will help your client budget and at the same time avoid potential problems if a job turns out to have unforeseen challenges? How might a dependable estimate even get you a higher hourly rate?
In this webinar, we will discuss what you need to know to estimate a job, how you can come up with an accurate estimate, and how you can communicate with a client to be fair on both sides.
