Course Description
Fair use is a well-known defense to a claim of copyright infringement—but what exactly is it? Will it prevent an irate copyright owner from suing you? And where does AI fit into this discussion? How will the technology impact writers, what is the legal status of AI, and how can it benefit writers?
This deep dive goes through what fair use is and how fair use—and other strategies—can protect someone from a copyright infringement claim. Bring questions for exploration.
