Flex training allows you to build skills from home at your own convenience and pace. Access training materials, complete exercises, receive instructor feedback, and/or participate in discussion.
Participants work at their own pace. Upon receipt of your materials, you will have 6 months to complete the work and get instructor feedback. You can register at any time.
The course consists of a workbook, answer keys to the exercises, helpful resources such as sample checklists, and handouts on grammar that are particularly useful to proofreaders.
You are welcome to email the instructor with queries at any time within 6 months of enrolling. In addition, you can take advantage of a 20-minute phone consultation with the instructor during that period.
You are also encouraged to practice your proofreading skills by completing a final exercise. The instructor will assess your strengths and note what areas you may need to work on.
